Озеро Хиндиктиг-Холь

Озеро ХИНДИКТИГ-ХОЛь располагается в западной части Каргинской котловины на высоте 2306 м. Хиндиктиг-Холь - крупное озеро ледникового происхождения. Площадь озера 6,6 тыс.га, глубина 50 м. Берега озера высокие, крутые, в сочетании с высокогорными кустарниковыми сообществами (круглолистной березы, ивы, можжевельника).

Хиндиктиг-Холь - высокогорное олиготрофное озеро с чистой прозрачной водой. Грунт прибрежных участков галечный, с множеством ключей.

В сообществе озера обитают эндемичные представители центрально-азиатской фауны: монгольский хариус и алтайский осман. Популяция монгольского хариуса отличается крупными размерами, замедленным ростом. Половозрелыми особи становятся в возрасте 8-10 лет при длине 23-27 см (Гундризер, 1972). Имеет промысловое значение. Популяция монгольского хариуса, обитающая в Хиндиктиг-Холь, рекомендуется в Красную книгу Республики Тыва.
